The Curry County Cruisers want to encourage and support involvment of todays youth in the car community. In 2014, we added the "Teen Challenge" event to our Azalea Festival Car Show. We were pleased when 7 teenaged car owners participated in this event.  Jordyn Ellis was the winner of the 1st Teen Challenge event, and we were very pleased when Jordyn joined our club, and is now a very active member.

Jordyn is working hard to help us promote the Teen Challenge event, and is currently spreading the word about our club to other young people in our community.

Our 2nd Annual Teen Challenge event will be included in the venue of the 21st Annual Azalea Festival Car Show which will be held on Memorial Day weekend, May 24, 2015. We are hoping to see more participants in this years Teen Challenge event.

If you have any questions about how to participate in this years event, please feel free to contact us. Jordyn will be glad to talk to you about this event.

A Message from Jordyn

Hello to all teenagers interested in classic cars. My name is Jordyn Ellis, and I am in charge of growing the Teen Challenge event at the Curry County Cruisers annual Azalea Festival Car Show which is held on Memorial Day weekend every year.

The Teen Challenge is a group of young car enthusiasts that have joined together to help get more young people involved in the hobby of Hot Rodding. We will be meeting at O'Reilly's Auto Parts here in Broookings. Meeting dates will be announced soon.

Thank you for your interest in supporting or joining the Teen Challenge group, and I hope you will enjoy this hobby as much as I do.

I can be contacted by emailing me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
