The Curry County Cruisers car club members are made up of area individuals and families who all have a deep admiration for classic cars, trucks, and other motorized vehicles. Our mission statement is:

“The Curry County Cruisers car club was formed to Preserve, promote and Encourage the enjoyment of all Special Interest Automobiles”

Our club was formed in 1987 by a group of local car enthusiasts. We meet once a month, on the second Sunday, at The Event Center, Brookings, and anyone interested in learning more about our club is invited to attend. The Event Center is open at 1:00 p.m. and the meeting starts promptly at 1:30pm. Our dues are $25.00 per year per family.

We have earned an excellent reputation in Curry County and neighboring counties as being a community orientated car club. We have donated tens of thousands of dollars to local charities and organizations from the proceeds of our car shows and events.

We are an open car club, whose members own and drive many different makes, models and years of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Our member’s cars range from Model T Fords to newer special interest automobiles.

We participate in several community events every year. Beginning in 2014 we participated in the Azalea Festival Parade, We have adopted a 2.4 mile section of Hwy 101 from the Arch Rock Condos to Cape Ferillo Rd., We particated in the Concert in the Park, we showed our cars at the Fabulous 50's event at the Sea View Retirement Center, We hosted the MDA Car Show in Smith River, We volunteered to help put the Christmas lights up at the Nature's Coastal Holiday event at Azalea Park, and we displayed a lighted Christmas display as well. We participated in the Brookings Harbor Christmas Parade, and many more events.

The Curry County Cruisers are proud to have donated several thousand dollars to non-profit organiations in Curry County from the proceeds of our events. Donations since 2010 exceed $23,000.

The club is proud of its new trailer and very grateful to Bill and Susan Rhoads who donated it in the summer of 2015. We have a large amount of club equipment and the trailer means that it is much easier for event organizers to move it around.
